You did not start your firm to become an employee of it.
You wanted the work. The reputable brand. The recognition. The magazine feature. The panel. The press. And you wanted the Wednesday afternoon with your daughter, and dinner with your partner that week, and the kind of life that made the firm worth building in the first place.
Both. Not either-or.
Somewhere along the way, the industry sold you a trade. Visibility for depletion. Scale for exhaustion. Recognition for the thing you actually got into this for.
You do not need another course on how to start. You have started. You need the architecture underneath what you have already built, so it can hold the weight of what you are about to become.
The advisory ecosystem for firm owners building with intention.
"I recently signed a project at four times my previous design fee. Working with Jameelah equipped me with tangible, actionable tools that have permanently changed the trajectory of my business."
- Denine Jackson, Denine Jackson Interiors
The four phases every firm has to build, in the order they have to be built.
Systems, structure, support.
Elevation, expression, expansion.
The order is not optional. Skipping a phase is how firms end up right back where they started, just with more followers.
Values, boundaries, non-negotiables.
This is where money lives. Pricing models, the contract suite, budgets, scope, the language you use to hold the line when a client pushes back. Anchors is the foundation. Everything structural sits on top of what you decide here. This is where firms stop leaking.
Documented workflows. Templates. The client path from inquiry to project conclusion. A team that can move the work forward without you being the only one who knows how. Shell is the frame of the firm. Talent scales only when the structure can hold it.
Marketing rhythm. Visibility strategy. Brand partnerships. Press. The elevated client experience. Enhancements is the finish work. This is where the firm becomes iconic, and the reason this phase comes last is because iconic cannot sit on top of broken.
Clarity, identity, direction.
Before we talk about pricing, team, or systems, we establish what you are actually building. Who you serve. The vision for the firm. The identity underneath the brand. You cannot architect what you have not defined. Consultation is the blueprint. This is where every designer starts in the Circle, no matter how far along the firm is.
With live access to me every month.
Legal, financial, operational, and design practitioners brought in four times a year to go deep on a specialized topic the firm needs but should not be DIY-ing.
Live 60 to 90 minute group advisory call hosted inside Kajabi. Recorded. This is where the framework meets your firm. You bring the question. We work it.
The full teaching library organized across Consultation, Anchors, Shell, and Enhancements. Self-paced video and written curriculum you can return to as the firm evolves.
Live 60 minute session focused on the internal architecture. Leadership identity, decision-making, nervous system. Because the business will only grow as far as the principal’s capacity to hold it.
The client-facing templates and systems organized by CASE phase. The CASE Design Process. The Signature Offer Suite Builder. The Contract Suite. The Client Budget Generator. The Concept Board, Design Presentation, Fee Proposal, and Project Conclusion templates. Everything you need to run a project from inquiry to closeout.
A peer room of design firm owners operating at your level. Hosted natively in Kajabi. No noise. No cross-posting. Real conversations about pricing, clients, scope, and the specific weight of this work.
A growing library of supporting resources with a published roadmap, so you know what is coming and when.
With live access to me every month.
"Jameelah laid out the exact steps needed to run a design business. There were things I wasn't charging for, and by simply implementing those steps, I was able to afford all the investments I had initially avoided."
- Dawntoya Thomason, Thomason Interiors
About
I am Jameelah Watkins-Mallett. CEO of The Case Collective and Co-Founder of Lauren Wesley Designs, an interior design firm I still run every day.
That second part matters. Because most of the business education in this industry was built by people who stopped practicing years ago, or people who have never designed at all. I teach the CASE Method from the firm, not from a distance. Every framework I will hand you has been pressure-tested on a real project with a real client and a real invoice.
I teach the CASE Method from the firm, not from a distance.
I built The Case Collective because I watched too many talented designers burn out inside firms they were proud of. The talent was never the issue. The architecture was. Pricing by feel. Contracts held together with hope. Processes that lived in one person’s head. A reputation built on output that the principal was personally absorbing the cost of maintaining.
I know it because I lived it. And I know that what gets a designer to the first stage of success is almost never what gets her to the next one. The next level has different physics.
Principal’s Circle is the room I wish I had when I was building. A place where you get the framework, the tools, and a peer who knows exactly what you mean when you say “the install is Thursday and the rug is still on a container.” Where the answer is never to work harder. The answer is to build the structure that lets the work hold itself.
This is not business education abstracted from design. I am a practicing interior designer running an active firm. Every framework taught inside the Circle is running on a real project, with a real client, in a real firm. You are not learning from someone who left the industry to teach it. You are learning from someone who is still in it.
Most programs hand you a pile of tools and let you pick. The CASE Method is sequential because the work is architectural. Consultation before Anchors. Anchors before Shell. Shell before Enhancements. You finish what you have framed. You frame what you have founded. You found what you have defined. The order is how the firm actually gets built.
Principal’s Circle is capped at 50 active members. This is a peer room, not a broadcast audience. You are not here to get lost in a feed. You are here to be known, to be seen at your level, and to build alongside designers who understand the specific weight of what you are doing.
The designer who has been doing the work for a decade and the experienced leader who came from another field into design are both in this room. The framework meets each of you at your own entry point. The established designer gets the diagnosis and the repair. The experienced leader gets the design-specific architecture built on the leadership foundation already in place. Same framework. Different starting conditions. Same destination.
"Although I had already been working in design, working with Jameelah gave me language, alignment, and confidence in a way nothing else had before. It affirmed my gifts, identified my strengths, and offered honest insight into areas where I still needed development."
- Elizabeth Akers, New ERA Designs
How This Works
Enrollment is evergreen. You come in when you are ready.
When you enroll, you get immediate access to the Kajabi platform, the full CASE Method curriculum, the Firm Foundations Toolkit, the private community, and the schedule for the monthly calls.
Your first 90 days move through a Consultation entry. We establish your starting phase. You attend your first strategy and mindset calls. You produce your first artifact. You start working inside the framework instead of around it.
Principal’s Circle is a 3-month minimum commitment, month-to-month after. This is deliberate. The work is sequential, and the first 90 days are where the architecture starts to hold. After the minimum, you stay as long as the room is serving you.
Billing is monthly. $500 charged on the same day each month, directly through Kajabi. No annual pre-pay. No discounts. No surprises.
A: The monthly strategy call is group advisory with live access to me. 1:1 access lives inside Private Coaching, the 1:1 Intensive, or a VIP Day. Principal’s Circle is designed to give you the framework, the tools, and the peer room. If you decide later that you want a concentrated 1:1 reset, those offers are available to you as a Circle member.
A: No. Principal’s Circle does not include pricing discounts on The Case Conference or the Sanctuary by Design Retreat. Each of those is a standalone experience with its own pricing. Principal’s Circle is built to stand on its own, not as a gateway to something else.
A: If you have read this far, you are probably ready. If you are waiting to feel fully ready, that feeling does not arrive on its own. It arrives because you built the architecture that makes readiness possible.
A: No. The qualifier is posture, not numbers. If you are running a firm and you are ready to build it with intention, you are in the right room. The designer who has been at it for 12 years and the experienced leader earlier in her design career are both served by the same framework.
A: A course teaches. A mastermind convenes. Principal’s Circle does both, and it adds the curriculum, the Firm Foundations Toolkit, and monthly live access to me. You are not buying information. You are joining the infrastructure to build a firm.
A: You attend your first monthly strategy call and first mindset call. You establish your starting CASE phase. You produce your first artifact from the Firm Foundations Toolkit. You stop starting over every quarter and start building in order.
A: After the 3-month minimum, you can cancel at the end of any billing cycle. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current month. No penalties. No awkward exit conversations.
